What should you expect during your time spent with us?

First, we’ll make you get close.

Then we’ll make you get closer. During your session, we guide you with intention. Not stiff poses, but natural movement. We’ll give you direction and prompts so you can interact the way you normally do: talking, laughing, walking while holding hands. You might lean in while we get closer than feels socially acceptable (trust us — it’s worth it).

There will be laughter. There will be quiet moments. There may be a second of “this feels awkward,” and then suddenly it doesn’t anymore. Our goal is never to make you perform, it’s to create space for you to be yourselves.

We keep things relaxed, light, and easy. The result is photography that feels effortless and timeless and very ‘you.’

Frequently Asked Questions:

All of our images are delivered in a beautiful and easy-to-use online gallery. The gallery is active for one year after your wedding date, and you can easily save your photos, share them to social media and order prints from our lab. You will receive your finished gallery within 90 days (and I’m not making any promises but it’s usually sooner!).

We require a retainer of 1/3 of the total and a signed contract in order to reserve your date. The second payment is due six months before your wedding and the final payment is due thirty days before your wedding.

Rather than following a shot list found online, we approach each wedding with intuition and experience. Staying present allows us to document the candid, fleeting moments you’ll treasure most. After photographing 350+ weddings as a husband-and-wife team, we’ve developed a rhythm that ensures the meaningful details are never overlooked.

For family formals, however, we absolutely create a list together so every important grouping is accounted for.

We’ve been photographing weddings since 2012. It all began when a friend (hi, Todd!) asked if we would photograph his sister’s wedding. While we hadn’t documented one on our own before, we said yes and poured everything we had into it. The day was beautiful, and what started as a single favor quickly became something much bigger. Soon after, we officially launched our business, and we’ve been honored to document love stories ever since.

While this may not be the most glamorous detail, it’s an important one and it’s something we take seriously so you never have to think about it.
