Spring Pavilion on Crystal Lake Wedding | Ali & Ryan
Ali & Ryan’s spring Pavilion on Crystal Lake wedding was so beautiful! They initially heard about us through The Connecticut Wedding Group but we really connected when we realized that we all love Disney – they got engaged right in front of Cinderella’s Castle! If you pay attention to their photos you will see hints of Disney here and there.
Ali & Ryan have been best friends since high school; they grew up in the same hometown and lived about three minutes apart. They both knew that they had feelings for each other but were scared that dating would throw off the best friend dynamic they both valued so much. From there they both attended UConn and in college Ali finally beat Ryan down (his words, not mine!) and convinced him that dating was a good idea and it wouldn’t kill the friendship. The rest, as they say, is history!
The morning of the wedding was drizzly and it was decided at the last minute that the ceremony had to be moved inside, but that didn’t ruin anyone’s mood! Ali & Ryan were so laid back about it and it was beautiful regardless. They were troopers for portraits; between each group of photos they were all grabbing umbrellas and trying to stay dry but everyone stayed happy and we all had a great time! Their vows were some of the most beautiful we’ve ever heard (I was crying through them) and the reception was so fun. Also, BLAZING DONUTS ARE SO DELICIOUS (see fire photo below).
