Wow. We have been dying to put this Evergreen Acres Tree Farm wedding on the blog since the night it happened – we just haven’t been able to until now! I wish you all could meet Jeff and Kris, because they are the most awesome couple EVER; I don’t think I can even come close to conveying that to you in words. They are sweet, funny, fun, and so loving, but unfortunately they live in Oklahoma so we can’t see them very often.
SO! About their wedding. It was SO personal, from the venue (Jeff’s grandparents christmas tree farm in honor of them), to the cake stand (a piece of the apple tree from his grandparents yard growing up), to the ceremony readings (done by her grandmother and aunt and his sister in law), to the wine box ceremony, to the homemade sweet tea. I was crying behind my camera and I’m sure Peter was too! Kristina either made everything herself or got it from Etsy, and Jeff was involved every step of the way! Also, because there were only 19 people at their wedding (so awesome), we got to know everyone there and they were so welcoming that we felt like we were a part of their family by the end of the night. We want to invite them to our own wedding next year!
